When to Call an IBCLC ?


  • Getting started with latch and positioning your baby (babies)
  • Adoption or Surrogacy
  • When you have twins or more!   (Welcome to the club, btw!)
  • When your baby has lost more than 10% of their birth weight
  • Low supply or decreased production
  • Suspected tongue/lip/buccal restrictions
  • Following a complicated delivery or previous breastfeeding difficulties
  • If you've had breast augmentation or reduction
  • Returning to work
  • Need Encouragement and Support
